Bacon and egg spaghetti
8 oz. spaghetti, 2 eggs beaten, 2 oz. Cheddar cheese (grated), 8 oz. bacon.
Once you’ve cooked and drained the spaghetti, fry the bacon in the melted butter. When it’s cooked, add the spaghetti and pour the beaten eggs on top. Sprinkle with grated cheese and serve straight away.
400g potatoes, 125g flour, 40g butter or margarine, 40g grated cheese, salt.
Peel the potatoes and slice them. Put the potatoes in a saucepan with some water and a bit of salt. Boil them for 20 minutes. Mash the potatoes. Put the mashed potatoes, the flour and the butter or margarine into a bowl. Mix them with a fork. Make 10 potato cakes with the mixture. Fry the potato cakes in a frying pan until they are brown on both sides. Cover the cakes with the grated cheese. Put them in a dish and keep them warm in the oven.
